SRI DEVARAJ URS INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES, affiliated to Bengaluru North University (BNU), Bengaluru, Karnataka, NAAC Accredited Institution Approved by the Government of Karnataka, was established in the year 2006 by Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust which is a trust formed by Sri.R.L.Jalappa in 1984. SDUIM quickly attained a prominent position among the limited number of undergraduate colleges in Bengaluru rural at that time. In these 17 years, the number of degree colleges in Bengaluru rural has shown astronomical growth but SRI DEVARAJ URS INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES continues to maintain its reputation and position. From a meager strength of thirty students at inception, the student strength has grown substantially to more than 1000 with a commensurate expansion of the faculty. The Institution is the first among the affiliated colleges under Bengaluru North University to be granted PG courses and to offer the MBA course.
